- Presentation of the new heat-sealing machine from in-house development HSM 2.0
- International premiere of the imprinted book protection filmolux libre fine pearl
NESCHEN Coating, the specialist for innovative films and repair tapes for the protection of books and documents, presents its new products and world-famous bestsellers at the World Congress of Libraries in Kuala Lumpur from 24 to 30 August 2018. This year’s IFLA World Library and Information Congress is taking in Malaysia under the motto “Transform Libraries, Transform Societies”. NESCHEN has been one of the main exhibitors for many years. The company from Lower Saxony is regarded as the inventor of self-adhesive book protection. Since the days of “Bückeburger Buchhaut” the product range in the field of book protection has been continuously expanded and is now distributed all over the world.
The NESCHEN trade fair team will travel to Malaysia with a series of new products. The HSM 2.0 heat-sealing machine celebrates its international premiere. filmoplast® R, the new generation of the well-known processing machine for repair paper, comes for the first time from our in-house development department. With the HSM 2.0, damaged documents can be fully laminated on both or one side. Mass restoration work, e.g. of modern papers and magazines, can thus be carried out in a time- and cost-efficient manner.
NESCHEN presents another real innovation in the field of protective films for books, brochures or drawings. Filmolux® libre fine pearl has a unique finely pearled texture. This ensures not only long-term protection, but also a high-quality appearance of books and documents. The 80μm film is made of sustainable polypropylene (PP). Processing can be done easily by hand or with the NESCHEN BLS-Classic and BLS-Professional book laminating machines.
All other NESCHEN bestsellers, such as filmolux® bookcover, filmolux® soft or filmoplast®, the self-adhesive paper repair tape can also be tested on site.
