- Development of new models starts shortly
- New investor focusses on development expertise „Made by NESCHEN“
The new laminators „Made by NESCHEN“ turn out to be a real sales hit. After the world premiere at FESPA in Amsterdam at the beginning of March, the English machinery supplier Atech bought the hundredth laminator of the own developed and produced NESCHEN series. With this order the specialist for state-of-the-art self-adhesive products and high-quality coated media reached the self-set annual target for selling the new laminators within only five months. The independent supplier for the graphics industry Atech has been a NESCHEN customer for 25 years. They decided on the NESCHEN HotLam 1650 TH which processes twelve metres of laminate in a record time of one minute. “This speed is unrivalled within this industry,” emphasizes Stephan Liegerer, responsible person for the new laminator series at NESCHEN. The development which was a joint project of NESCHEN and its customers, focused on the economic and ergonomic operation as well as on the maintenance of the hot and cold laminators. Many parts can easily be exchanged and repaired by the customer.
A comprehensive after-sales support including trainings and offers for an extended manufacturer’s warranty completes the service. “This concept has proven to be a success and permits an optimistic view of the future also in this field,” says Franz Rankl, head of International Sales at NESCHEN. Due to the positive response of customers NESCHEN is planning the development of two more models which will start soon.
Dr. Hannspeter Schubert, CEO of Blue Cap AG is also pleased about this success. In July Blue Cap signed a sales contract for Neschen Coating GmbH. Schubert commented: “NESCHEN has a high potential in the area of research and development and the new laminators are excellent examples. The short-term sales success confirms our decision to intensify our investment in in-house developments.”
